Michael Hitschold was born in Chemnitz in 1970 and grew up in Coburg from 1985. After his education in the field of metal design in Dresden and Berlin, with periods at the "Akademie der Künste" in Berlin, study trips to Italy, Spain, South Africa, Namibia and North and South America followed.
He worked in the field of metal design in Dresden, Cape Town, Berlin and Los Angeles for a long time until he settled in the Altmark/Sachsen-Anhalt in 2001. Since the beginning of 2019 Michael Hitschold lives in Alt Karin/Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Michael Hitschold is a member of the Künstlerbund Mecklenburg und Vorpommern e.V. in the BBK.
