Artworks by Artist: Flörsheim, Daniela

Daniela Flörsheim, born in Düsseldorf in 1953, studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and at the University of Jerusalem. Graduated with honours as a master student under Joseph Beuys.

She is the daughter of Karin Flörsheim, who trained with Otto Piene, ZERO Foundation. Her stepfather is Abu Abele, sculptor and artist.

As a representative of watercolour painting on canvas and paper, her works have been shown in solo exhibitions in international galleries and in group exhibitions at Kunsthalle Düsseldorf (1976) and Museum Kunstpalast (1997), among others.

2010 solo exhibition at Jehangir Gallery in Mumbai, India, as the first German artist.
The artist also creates performances such as for the exhibition Women in World Religions at the Frauenmuseum Bonn (2013) and Fluxus actions.
