Franco Campana (* March 28, 1954; † November 25, 2017) was an acclaimed Italian-German visual artist. Beginning his artistic journey in Germany at 16, he studied at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences in the Art and Design Department from 1974 to 1982, mentored by Dieter Kraemer. Continuing his artistic endeavours, Campana occasionally assumed supporting roles in films. Returning exclusively to visual arts in 1995, he painted in Cologne, showcasing his versatility.
