Ever since people tried to make sense of constellations of stars in the night sky. On the nothern hemisphere Orion is one of the most recognisable. In my interpretation of "Orion", I tried to make palpable the huge space in between the lonely stars.

In „Orion“ the india ink has been applied to the stone paper in diverse dilutions and with different painting instruments. The central figure in the picture shows a man in fighting pose, while at the same time he seems to float free in a greyish matrix, which is the bright loneliness of space.

Grainy interstellar objects were formed by the application of sodium bicarbonate to the stone paper. A molecule, which in fact can be found on various asteroids by means of spectroscopy.
