THE WATER COLUMN AND THE ANCHOR

The composition is composed of three parts
- A column, an overturned cap and the figural sculpture
The column associates the true ocean movement. In it you can see a portrait, at the top a shape similar to the Uroborus, the symbol of the eternal movement in cycles.
Ultimately, the column is an installation with the base of the small sculpture on top.
For the time being, the parts are loose, but they are easy to attach when put together.

The need to create art is to live for it!

From 1962 to 1968 I studied sculpture at the Art Academy "Nicolae Grigorescu" in Bucharest, Romania. In the 1980s, I was famous in Romania as a well-known artist, and I am and will remain so today. Germany has become my second home where I have been living for 37 years and where I am also artistically active.

The spectrum of my art creates extensive possibilities through different artistic disciplines.

Shapes and colors may achieve the boldness of the Avangarde visually or through associations, sculpture, graphics, painting, art for public spaces, installations. I call my current sculptures "Ceramic Sculptures".
