  • "The Pendulum" kinetic sculpture made of steel, cut, welded, brushed.
  • Using small iron (= railway fittings) that the artist found and collected while working on his premises:
  • "With the cut-open guide rails of the roller doors from the goods hall of a former train station (my studio), arranged in a row in a series and welded together, two strands result."
  • Two elements, rotatable against the hanging and against each other, each 103 cm long, 8 cm wide, 3 cm deep, with the hanging there is a depth of 19 cm.
  • Weight 2 parts 4 kg each, 1 part 1 kg, total approx. 9 kg.
  • Shipping crate: Sturdy wooden box, lined on the inside with a cut-out styrodur inner form, 10 kg.

After apprenticeship as a stonemason, studied sculpture at the Kunstakademie Karlsruhe, master class with Hiromi Akiyama. Large sculptures at various symposia in Krastal, Austria, Skulpturenweg Rheinlandpfalz, Spain. Div. public purchases for solo and group exhibitions.
